Our commitments to passengers

  • The purchased ticket, whether with a fixed date or in the form of a 24-month valid voucher, includes the following services:
  • The hot air balloon flight of approximately one hour.
  • Transportation with our vehicle from the landing point to the take-off point.
  • Aviation insurance as required by current regulations.
  • It is never possible to guarantee the route or the actual duration of the flight since the hot air balloon is an aircraft directed by the wind.
  • The pilot’s judgment and that of the competent authorities to interrupt the flight in case of adverse weather conditions is indisputable.
  • Flying in a hot air balloon is totally dependent on weather conditions; in case of adverse weather conditions not reported by the weather reports, we can cancel the flight even before take-off.
  • If a flight is canceled due to weather or any other reason beyond our control, a new date for the flight will be proposed.
  • If flights are suspended due to force majeure, the validity of the voucher will be extended for a period equivalent to the suspension period.
  • We are not responsible for economic losses or any damage caused by possible suspensions such as various types of external tickets or accommodation bookings.
  • We reserve the right to entrust the execution of our flights to other operators, holders of a regular ENAC license, who have a collaboration contract with us. Even in this case, these terms and conditions will always apply.
  • Firenze Mongolfiere has insurance coverage for air carriers pursuant to the Montreal Convention of May 28, 1999, Regulation (EC) No. 785/2004, and Regulation (EU) No. 285/2010 for each passenger in case of death and/or personal injury.
